Olamide and his YBNL crew on Sunday 9th of October had a record breaking concert at
Eventim Apollo UK . However, findings are that despite the mammoth crowd that turned up for the concert , YBNL boss,
Olamide apparently is unhappy with the out come of the event.
It was reported that tickets for the show were sold out, filling the 5,000 capacity Hammersmith Apollo venue London to its breaking point.
Things never really went as planned, as
Olamide could not complete his set during the concert due to the boisterous crowd that was impossible to tame. The concert had performances from Lil Kesh, Adekunle Gold, Viktoh, Temmie Ovwasa etc.
Doors of the Hammersmith Apollo were shut, leaving a large number of eager fans outside the venue.
Olamide was quoted at the end of the
concert as saying that although he was humbled at the record numbers of fans who came out to see him , he was still disappointed at the fact that his fans didn’t get to witness the end of the show which he had prepared for months.
“All attempts were made to ensure Olamide gave his final performance including offering to cover any security costs to the venue but we eventually had to understand the health and safety concerns of the arena owners as the crowd outside continuously rushed the door,” CEO of Smade events Junior Adeosun said.
